This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Establish the product vision, roadmap, and priorities for designated functional areas.
• Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to collect, analyze, and confirm business requirements and processes.
• Convert legislation, policies, and jurisdictional regulations into actionable product functionality.
• Create functional designs that outline configuration, business rules, and system behavior.
• Perform fit analysis against current product capabilities and identify gaps, configuration needs, or enhancements.
• Set acceptance criteria and guide engineering and QA teams throughout the development and testing phases.
• Manage and oversee the product backlog, ensuring prioritization, refinement, and sprint planning.
• Develop and maintain delivery plans, release scope, and timelines across multiple ongoing projects.
• Generate product documentation, release notes, and internal training materials.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to assist with implementations and resolve issues.
• Facilitate product demonstrations for potential customers.
• Assist sales and pre-sales initiatives through RFP/RFI responses, deliverable scoping, and domain-specific contributions.
• Promote continuous improvement via sprint reviews, retrospectives, and product feedback loops.
• Utilize AI-enabled tools in daily product workflows, analysis, and customer-facing solutions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Over 3 years of experience in Product Management, Business Analysis, or a similar role within enterprise software.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
• Experience in designing complex calculations or rule-based systems.
• Capability to interpret legislation, policies, or regulatory requirements and translate them into system functionality.
• Proven experience in gathering requirements through customer engagement and stakeholder collaboration.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Experience in authoring functional designs, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies, including backlog management and sprint planning.
• Highly detail-oriented with robust prioritization abilities.
• Experience in property tax, financial, or other government systems.
• Knowledge of configurable platforms, rules engines, or business process-driven applications.
• Experience working directly with public-sector clients or regulated industries.
• Exposure to Azure DevOps, SQL, or reporting and analytics tools.
• Experience in applying AI-enabled tools to enhance product workflows, analysis, or customer-facing solutions.
