This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of customer-facing DocSend product areas from start to finish, which includes identifying customer challenges, defining strategy, prioritizing tasks, executing plans, launching products, measuring success, and iterating on feedback.
• Implement foundational enhancements across user experiences, striking a balance between immediate customer needs and the long-term quality and stability of the product.
• Recognize and cultivate strategic opportunities within Dropbox and DocSend, including experiences that integrate multiple products.
• Gain an in-depth understanding of DocSend customers through research, product analytics, feedback, and direct customer interactions, transforming insights into clear product decisions and priorities.
• Collaborate closely with Engineering and Design teams to define challenges, assess options and trade-offs, uphold high-quality standards, and lead cross-functional execution.
• Establish success metrics, utilize both quantitative and qualitative evidence to assess outcomes, and adjust the product roadmap as customer requirements, business goals, technology, and market conditions change.
• Thoughtfully leverage AI and automation to enhance workflows.
• A minimum of 5 years of product management or a closely related field, with hands-on experience managing customer-facing product experiences end-to-end.
• Proven track record of identifying significant customer issues, making product prioritization and trade-offs, and translating strategy into clear product direction.
• Strong customer empathy with the ability to merge qualitative customer insights and quantitative data when making product decisions.
• Experience collaborating closely with Engineering and Design teams to navigate ambiguity, technical limitations, dependencies, risks, and product quality considerations.
• Robust analytical skills with the ability to establish success metrics, interpret product and business data, and leverage evidence to inform iterations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a demonstrated capability to align cross-functional partners and clearly articulate decisions and trade-offs.
• Flexibility and curiosity, including the capacity to learn new domains and technologies while thoughtfully incorporating AI-enabled workflows and maintaining strong product judgment and accountability.
• Preferred: Experience in building and evolving B2B or SaaS products.
• Preferred: Experience with products that facilitate business-critical document or content workflows.
• Preferred: Experience in developing multi-product experiences or workflows that span multiple product surfaces.
