Product Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Implement the Discovery process to craft products for upcoming sprints.

• Collaborate closely with clients and Derevo’s diverse specialists.

• Lead and facilitate discussions with the team during the Discovery phase.

• Understand client needs by empathizing with their challenges and technological hurdles.

• Generate innovative ideas and collaboratively establish the product vision.

• Utilize user research methods, Design Thinking, and Design Sprint frameworks.

• Provide exceptional value propositions and strive to surpass client expectations.

• Outline epics, features, user stories, and acceptance criteria for the initial backlog.

• Foster trust and knowledge with clients, users, and development teams.

• Assist in future negotiations and offer advisory support throughout project execution.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field.

• Proficient in English at a C1 level - Essential.

• 5 years of experience in Data Analytics and/or Software Development.

• Technical background.

• 2 years of experience in a role related to Product Management or Product Development.

• Experience in defining the storytelling for analytical dashboards.

• Basic knowledge of business processes in commercial, financial, production, and expense areas.

• Advanced proficiency in BI platforms such as Power BI, Qlik, or Tableau.

• Strong knowledge in Data Model Design.

• Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working with SCRUM.

• Ability to lead and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

• Expertise in conducting meetings and negotiation skills with clients.
