Product Manager

📋 Description

• Take ownership of product initiatives from the stages of problem identification and requirements gathering to prioritization, planning, execution, adoption, and ongoing enhancement.

• Convert customer, market, and business demands into product specifications, priorities, and strategic solutions.

• Clarify needs, identify risks, assess trade-offs, and define success metrics for unclear or pre-existing challenges.

• Maintain a balance between customer value, business objectives, technical limitations, competing priorities, and timelines.

• Collaborate with Engineering and Product teams throughout the phases of planning, refinement, development, testing, release, and post-launch enhancement.

• Provide context, requirements, and success criteria to ensure teams address the right challenges.

• Assess workflows, applications, and areas for improvement; outline requirements and pathways forward.

• Manage launch readiness, track adoption, and ensure continual improvement for designated product areas.

• Enhance understanding of customers and users through research, feedback, market exploration, and partnerships with customers.

• Leverage customer insights, market conditions, and business priorities to guide decision-making and uncover opportunities.

• Collaborate with Customer Experience, Sales, Marketing, subject matter experts, and operational teams to create integrated solutions.

• Drive measurable outcomes such as adoption rates, customer satisfaction, retention, and overall business impact.

• Communicate product direction, decisions, trade-offs, and progress to technical, commercial, customer-facing, and leadership stakeholders.

• Foster alignment, manage stakeholder expectations, and lead through influence.

• Serve as the business owner for assigned product areas, taking accountability beyond mere feature delivery.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience.

• Over 5 years of experience in product management, EHS, chemical safety, regulatory compliance, product stewardship, or a similar field.

• Experience in B2B SaaS product management, commercial roles, or customer-facing positions, preferably with enterprise platforms that support complex regulatory, content-driven, or service-based solutions.

• Proven track record of guiding customer or business challenges from discovery and requirements through prioritization, planning, and execution, focusing on measurable outcomes.

• Experience in evaluating, implementing, enhancing, or replacing business software or applications.

• Capability to work independently, create structure from uncertainty, and chart a path forward when solutions are not fully articulated.

• Experience collaborating cross-functionally and influencing stakeholders without formal authority while balancing customer needs, business priorities, technical limitations, and timelines.

• Excellent communication skills to convey customer and stakeholder needs into clear requirements and solutions for both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Strong organizational and prioritization abilities, with the flexibility to adapt as needs and priorities evolve.

• Familiarity with AI-enabled tools to enhance efficiency and support daily tasks, with sound judgment in validating and utilizing AI-generated outputs.

• Must be based in the US in a state where 3E is authorized to employ individuals.

• Must be eligible to work without the need for sponsorship.

• Preferable but not mandatory: familiarity with EHS, chemical safety, or regulatory compliance; software-plus-services, advisory, or content offerings; Agile/Scrum methodologies; APIs, integrations, customer implementations, or complex enterprise workflows.
