Product Management Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Define the product requirements, specifications, and roadmap for applications within the Forge Utility Software portfolio.

• Ensure alignment with the overarching Forge platform architecture.

• Take ownership of the product strategy for AI features in grid operations, DER management, rate design, and utility program performance.

• Convert AI capabilities into outcomes that are relevant to utilities.

• Collaborate with Solution Architects, Sales teams, and customers to pinpoint the most valuable use cases.

• Perform voice-of-customer initiatives and competitive analysis against utility analytics and DERMS competitors.

• Establish product requirements and influence development priorities for engineering and R&D.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 6 years of experience in software product management.

• Proven track record of delivering cloud-native B2B software products.

• Comfortable navigating SaaS commercial models, cloud architecture trade-offs, and data platform considerations.

• Familiarity with utility analytics, MDM, GIS/CIS integration, or DERMS use cases.

• Ability to engage in credible discussions with utility analysts and operations personnel.

• Demonstrated experience in constructing software product roadmaps based on customer research, voice of customer, and competitive analysis.

• Working knowledge of scoping, evaluating, and deploying AI features in a B2B environment.

• Capability to evaluate AI feasibility, accuracy thresholds, and deployment risks in collaboration with engineers.
