Product Management Intern

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Assist the product manager in creating, organizing, and tracking tickets for modifications and enhancements to payment services.

• Ensure that work is documented, prioritized, and progressing through the backlog; follow up on statuses and identify any blockers.

• Collect stakeholder insights, summarize critical information, and prepare materials for provider meetings.

• Address routine internal inquiries utilizing available resources.

• Acquire knowledge of SQL to query payment data effectively.

• Aid in the development and upkeep of dashboards that monitor payment performance, processing failures, and overall operational health.

• Identify anomalies in payment processes and compile data for reviews and investigations.

• Maintain internal documentation related to payment processes, fee structures, and operational workflows.

• Keep cross-functional teams informed through clear written updates.

• Engage in agile meetings and collaborate with engineering, operations, compliance, and support teams.

• Convert technical challenges into understandable language and translate business needs into actionable requirements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's program in Business, Computer Science, Economics, Finance, or a related discipline.

• A genuine interest in payments, fintech, and intricate financial systems.

• An innate curiosity coupled with a logical mindset.

• Exceptional attention to detail.

• Comfortable working with data and eager to learn SQL; prior experience is advantageous but not mandatory.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Previous experience through internships, projects, or extracurricular activities related to product management, fintech, data analysis, or startups is beneficial.

• Proven experience using Claude or similar large language model tools is essential.

• At ease with leveraging AI to boost productivity, research, and communication.
