This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Gather, cleanse, and evaluate product line performance metrics, covering sales, margins, pricing, forecasts, backlog, and inventory.
• Recognize risks and opportunities for growth, and formulate recommendations to enhance profitability, pricing strategies, inventory efficiency, and customer service.
• Develop and uphold forecasting models to optimize demand planning and inventory alignment.
• Track commodity markets, such as copper, and assist in pricing adjustments and metals escalation initiatives.
• Conduct quarterly reviews of customer pricing to ensure that price lists align with approved commercial agreements and margin goals.
• Create dashboards and analytical tools utilizing Oracle, S2K, Excel, and various business intelligence platforms.
• Facilitate cross-functional initiatives related to pricing, cost reduction, inventory optimization, reporting enhancements, and new product launches.
• Collaborate with Sales, Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, Customer Service, and Strategic Account Managers.
• Present insights on business performance, trends, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
• Assist in managing new customer projects.
• Minimum of three years of experience in product management, supply chain, demand planning, commercial analysis, pricing, inventory management, or a similar analytical role.
• Professional background in manufacturing or industrial distribution.
• Experience in analyzing sales, inventory, pricing, forecasting, margin, or other operational and commercial data.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including advanced features like multi-sheet workbooks, pivot tables, lookups, dashboards, and data-validation tools.
• Skilled in extracting, reconciling, validating, and interpreting data from ERP, business intelligence, or related systems.
• Strong analytical judgment with meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational and project coordination abilities, capable of managing multiple priorities, deadlines, and stakeholder expectations.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present analysis and recommendations to leadership.
• Capacity to influence tasks, coordinate priorities, and provide functional guidance without formal reporting authority.
• Ability to work remotely from the Eastern or Central Time Zone and align work hours with relevant teams and stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel approximately quarterly, primarily to GCG facilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent relevant professional experience (preferred qualification).
• Familiarity with electrical products like wire, cable, custom cable assemblies, wire harnesses, or similar components (preferred).
• Experience with commodity-based pricing or metals escalation and de-escalation practices, especially concerning copper (preferred).
• Background in supporting multiple manufacturing or operational facilities (preferred).
• Knowledge of enterprise ERP systems, preferably Oracle, for data extraction (preferred).
• Experience in building or validating business intelligence dashboards and reporting tools (preferred).
• Practical experience in coordinating project timelines, deliverables, action items, and cross-functional stakeholders (preferred).
• Involvement in customer pricing, forecasting, contract, or business performance dialogues (preferred).
