This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +2 more locations.
• Establish the vision and a prioritized roadmap for PACS and Viewer.
• Spearhead product discovery efforts with radiologists from various specialties.
• Convert clinical workflows into user-friendly navigation and effective access to imaging and clinical data.
• Specify diagnostic viewing features, including hanging protocols, multi-monitor configurations, series navigation, longitudinal comparisons, prior relevance, measurements, annotations, and modality-specific tools.
• Influence integration with advanced visualization and subspecialty applications.
• Prioritize the ingestion, routing, storage, retrieval, reconciliation, sharing, and lifecycle management of PACS images.
• Address the operational needs of PACS administrators, imaging informatics teams, and enterprise clients.
• Collaborate with worklist, reporting, and AI product leaders to sustain patient and study context.
• Define specifications for cloud and hybrid deployments, legacy PACS coexistence, archive migration, and access to historical studies.
• Prioritize interoperability with modalities, RIS, EHR, and third-party imaging systems.
• Set performance expectations for image loading, series navigation, prior availability, responsiveness for large studies, and service reliability.
• Maintain requirements, acceptance criteria, and release priorities.
• Coordinate clinical validation, pilot feedback, launch readiness, and post-release enhancements.
• Develop investment proposals and support pricing, packaging, competitive positioning, and sales enablement.
• Align internal teams and technology partners around product outcomes.
• Mentor product managers and product owners.
• Monitor adoption, user satisfaction, workflow efficiency, support demands, retention, and product economics.
• Collaborate with Quality and Regulatory teams on intended use, risk management, requirements traceability, and release documentation.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, health informatics, business, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in healthcare technology.
• At least 7 years in product management.
• Significant responsibilities related to PACS or diagnostic viewer products.
• Proven track record of successfully launching commercial imaging software and enhancing products utilized in daily clinical practice.
• In-depth knowledge of radiologist reading workflows, multi-modality imaging, prior comparisons, and enterprise PACS operations.
• Ability to assess diagnostic viewer usability and performance with clinicians and translate insights into actionable product strategies.
• Practical familiarity with DICOM, DICOMweb, HL7, FHIR, and relevant IHE workflows.
• Experience with cloud or hybrid imaging products, enterprise integrations, and complex customer deployments.
• Strong commercial acumen and a disciplined approach to investment and prioritization decisions.
• Experience leading distributed, cross-functional teams and influencing senior stakeholders.
• Availability to attend meetings during standard Eastern Time hours.
• Must legally be eligible to work in the United States or Canada, or address sponsorship requirements.
• Options for remote work within the United States or Canada.
• Flexibility to work from the Somerville office, although it is not mandatory.
• Opportunities for travel related to clinical observation, customer interactions, implementation reviews, and industry events as necessary.
