Product Engineering Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Act as the main US-based contact between Product Engineering and Operations

• Enhance visibility, alignment, and responsiveness as networking products transition from development to high-volume manufacturing

• Build trusted relationships across Engineering, Operations, Planning, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Executive Leadership

• Maintain ongoing awareness of product health, manufacturing readiness, yield performance, risk assessments, and execution status

• Convert technical engineering data into practical operational insights

• Serve as the key liaison between NPE engineering teams in Israel and Operations teams in the US

• Act as the first responder for product-related operational emergencies and coordinate immediate engagement of engineering experts

• Facilitate product transitions from development to manufacturing and mass production

• Evaluate operational impacts resulting from technical decisions and alterations

• Participate in operational reviews, readiness forums, partner concern discussions, planning meetings, and war rooms

• Promote transparency, accountability, and proactive communication across global teams and various time zones

⛳️ Requirements

• BS, MS, or PhD, or equivalent experience in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or a related discipline

• Over 12 years of experience in semiconductor product engineering, manufacturing, process engineering, or operations

• In-depth knowledge of the semiconductor lifecycle from silicon development to volume manufacturing

• Proven experience in leading complex technical challenges and facilitating multi-functional resolutions

• Excellent executive communication and presentation abilities

• Direct experience with networking, datacenter, AI, ASIC, or high-performance semiconductor products

• Strong grasp of yield management, test operations, manufacturing processes, and NPI-to-MP transitions

• Experience serving as a technical liaison between engineering and operations

• History of enhancing operational visibility, speeding up issue identification, minimizing late-stage partner concerns, and developing scalable operating models
