This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines, +5 more countries.
• Take ownership of the entire process from product conception to launch-ready status.
• Create comprehensive product specifications that encompass materials, colors, comfort, construction, unique features, target costs, pricing, and shipping dimensions.
• Generate complete, manufacturer-ready specification packs within 1–2 days post-approval.
• Explore Alibaba, 1688, and additional channels to find factories.
• Assess supplier capabilities and capacities, creating a shortlist of 5–8 verified suppliers for each approved product within 3–5 business days.
• Solicit and negotiate quotes, calculate landed costs per unit, and confirm minimum order quantities (MOQ), lead times, payment terms, and packaging details.
• Follow up with suppliers on a daily basis until all queries and quotes are addressed.
• Order, monitor, and evaluate samples against established specifications.
• Manage revision rounds through documented approvals or rejections of samples.
• Create and oversee UPC, SKU, FNSKU, and QR codes.
• Oversee packaging, inserts, warnings, labeling, and FBA dimensions.
• Brief creative teams regarding product images, A+ content, and videos.
• Maintain documentation of supplier comparisons, risks, open questions, and recommendations.
• Deliver end-of-day reports, weekly scorecards, KPIs, and daily updates to the Head of R&D.
• Supervise the existing sourcing agent and collaborate directly with factories.
• Assist in achieving the goal of launching ten new products each quarter.
• Practical experience in product sourcing via Alibaba, 1688, or similar channels.
• Proficient in locating factories, engaging suppliers directly, requesting and comparing substantial quotes, and negotiating MOQs and unit prices.
• Experience in guiding a physical product from the ideation phase through to production.
• Proven ability to manage supplier relationships throughout at least one complete production cycle.
• E-commerce experience is essential; Amazon private label experience is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with Amazon Seller Central is desirable but not mandatory.
• Capacity to source effectively and identify trustworthy suppliers.
• Understanding of Amazon listings, including the ability to extract dimensions, materials, construction, and packaging details from competitor listings.
• Strong numeracy skills related to margins, landed costs per unit, freight allocation per unit, CBM, percentages, FBA size tiers, and dimensional weight.
• Ability to compose clear and appropriately detailed product specifications.
• Excellent written English skills for daily reporting and written negotiations with factories.
• Reliable computer and internet connection.
• Daily availability to overlap with the Head of R&D.
• Resourcefulness, strong follow-through, meticulous attention to cost-impacting details, ownership of the pipeline, and direct communication skills.
