
Product Development Engineer – Bottles

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Guide a cross-functional team through the development of new products, from initial concept to manufacturing implementation and commercial launch.
• Implement the project plan and make decisions to ensure projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and according to scope.
• Supervise product and tooling design, which includes ideation sessions, competitive analysis, design requirements, DFMEA, and design reviews.
• Manage the Technical Development Plan, incorporating cost inputs, capital equipment expenses, and technology assessments.
• Facilitate technical communication with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Inform senior management of any deviations in project timelines, costs, and deliverables.
• Ensure compliance with Berry, industry, and regulatory procedures, including Management of Change, Stage Gate, and ISO processes.
• Work in partnership with Quality personnel to establish critical-to-quality metrics and validate process capabilities.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Relevant experience in product development and manufacturing of bottles.
• Familiarity with multiple processes such as EBM, SBM, and RHB.
• Willingness to travel as required.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities.
• Knowledge of statistical methods and software (SPC/DOE/MiniTab).
• A self-motivated and assertive individual.
• Capability to prioritize, multitask, think proactively, and focus on results.
• Strong organizational skills with a proven track record of managing multiple tasks concurrently.
• Robust analytical and problem-solving skills necessary for data-driven decision-making.
• Project Management experience is a plus.
