Product Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.

📋 Description

• Assess, validate, and provide support for new experimental plant varieties

• Design and implement trial programs

• Analyze performance metrics and produce insights based on data

• Oversee crops of moderate technical complexity while employing suitable agronomic practices, protocols, and technical standards

• Foster relationships with both internal stakeholders and external clients

• Offer technical expertise and guidance to local teams

• Enhance product portfolio performance and assist in the development of new product lines

• Create and develop trial plans that align with research goals and market needs

• Coordinate, oversee, and assess research and commercial variety trials

• Gather, evaluate, and report on trial outcomes

• Aid in the launch of new Enza Zaden varieties through technical positioning and product value propositions

• Identify promising experimental varieties via local screenings and global breeding initiatives

• Manage trial materials and seed inventory

• Collaborate with breeding, sales, marketing, and operations teams

• Undertake other related responsibilities as assigned

⛳️ Requirements

• Higher education (Bachelor's/College) or equivalent experience and thinking level preferred

• 3 to 5 years of relevant professional experience preferred

• A valid driver's license

• Must comply with eligibility criteria under the company’s driver insurance policy

• Strong agricultural knowledge, particularly in high-density vegetable crops

• Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

• Ability to operate under time pressures, especially during peak seasons

• Regular fieldwork in various environmental conditions

• Capable of lifting, carrying, pushing, and moving items weighing up to 60lbs

• Occasionally reaching, bending, or stooping to handle plants in the field
