Product Designer II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the design for well-defined features and workflows from the exploration phase to launch.

• Convert customer needs and product specifications into clear user flows and refined interfaces.

• Investigate multiple solutions, articulate trade-offs, and iterate based on feedback received.

• Create comprehensive experiences, considering edge cases, error states, responsive behaviors, and handoff details.

• Engage in customer research and apply insights to enhance your work.

• Develop prototypes to test ideas, clarify interactions, and ensure team alignment.

• Utilize qualitative feedback and product data to assess delivered experiences.

• Cultivate product judgment by linking design decisions to customer and business outcomes.

• Collaborate daily with Product and Engineering teams to plan and execute tasks.

• Clearly communicate progress, rationale, open questions, and potential risks.

• Utilize and contribute to Cherry's design system and shared interaction patterns.

• Engage in critiques, provide constructive feedback, and integrate feedback into your work.

• Enhance quality through a focus on hierarchy, language, consistency, and usability.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in product design, including work on shipped digital products.

• A portfolio showcasing strong fundamentals in interaction and visual design.

• Experience in designing user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and production-ready interfaces.

• A well-defined design process and the capability to articulate design choices.

• Comfort in closely collaborating with Product and Engineering partners.

• A curiosity about customers, business context, and product performance post-launch.

• Strong attention to detail with a readiness to address edge cases.

• Openness to feedback, a commitment to active learning, and a willingness to take on increased ownership over time.

• Experience with transactional, regulated, consumer, or business software is advantageous.

• Must have legal authorization to work in the United States.
