Product Designer II, Agent Experience

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take full ownership of the design process for designated Agent Experience projects, encompassing problem framing, research, prototyping, validation, and collaboration for implementation.

• Design workflows tailored for independent agents, wholesalers, and internal back-office teams, incorporating role-based permissions and data import processes.

• Conduct and analyze user interviews, usability tests, moderated sessions with external agents, and data analytics.

• Collaborate with product managers to define problems, approaches, and success metrics during the requirement gathering phase.

• Develop user flows, diagrams, Figma designs, and coded prototypes for stakeholders, engineering teams, and external partners.

• Navigate shared code repositories, review existing prototypes, make iterations in an IDE with AI support, and work closely with engineers.

• Design integration experiences that include single sign-on, pre-fill capabilities, status updates, and quoting APIs.

• Work alongside engineering teams to maintain design integrity while considering technical limitations.

• Participate in design critiques to enhance design quality across the team.

• Advocate for user-centered design within a regulated product environment where trust, accuracy, and compliance are critical.

• Collaborate with Engineering, Revenue, Ops, product managers, external agents, carrier partners, and distribution partners.

• Report to the Senior Design Manager for New Business and closely collaborate with the Staff Product Designer focused on New Business.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required.

• 3–5 years of experience in product design.

• Ideally, experience in complex or regulated industries such as fintech, healthcare, enterprise B2B, insurance, or similar fields.

• A portfolio showcasing systems thinking, the discipline from research to shipping, and attention to interaction and visual detail.

• A proven record of delivering product work that demonstrates measurable impact.

• Proficient in Figma and contemporary prototyping techniques.

• Hands-on experience in building or iterating on designs within an IDE or code-based environment, such as Cursor, VS Code with AI assistants, or Claude Code.

• Strong preference for the ability to read and navigate coded prototypes and collaborate within repositories.

• A strong preference for demonstrated use of AI in daily design practices.

• Comfortable presenting work to stakeholders and asserting a point of view.

• Experience with design systems and component libraries.

• Strong analytical capabilities utilizing qualitative and quantitative data.

• Excellent communication and skills in cross-functional collaboration.

• Ability to function effectively in situations of ambiguity and incomplete information.

• Ability to work within shared design guidelines and actively engage in giving and receiving feedback.

• Preferred: experience designing for professional or agent-facing channels.

• Preferred: experience that spans two different company brands.

• Preferred: experience with quoting, pricing, illustration, or configurator interfaces.

• Preferred: experience with agentic or multi-step AI workflows.

• Preferred: familiarity with design-system-to-code pipelines.

• Must reside in the contiguous 48 states of the United States.
