Product Designer, Credit

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Create engaging credit product experiences encompassing offers, borrowing processes, disclosures, repayment, and transaction history.

• Develop conversational, AI-driven experiences within WhatsApp and assist in shaping future native applications for iOS and Android.

• Collaborate closely with the lead credit designer and work directly with the Credit Product Manager.

• Conduct research, present findings, and generate ideas to pinpoint effective product solutions.

• Balance user experience with informed risk assessments, partnering with product and engineering teams to achieve project deadlines.

• Execute evaluative testing and lightweight discovery processes, conducting research for broader inquiries.

• Integrate legal and risk considerations into the product experience.

• Contribute to shaping hiring practices, critique methodologies, and the design system.

• Expand credit access for underserved and credit-invisible populations in the U.S.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in designing consumer products with a strong emphasis on craftsmanship, including proficient visual and interaction design, along with an expanding scope across end-to-end user experience.

• Capability to solve screen challenges, reframe design patterns, and justify design trade-offs to non-design stakeholders.

• Fluency in Spanish (native or near-native) and advanced proficiency in English.

• Proficient in Figma, with at least two mobile products developed and delivered from start to finish.

• Strong research skills to conduct evaluative testing and discovery, with the discernment to know when to engage a researcher.

• Familiarity with AI tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, Claude Design, and Codex.

• High tolerance for navigating legal requirements, risk regulations, and failure scenarios.

• Comfort in fast-paced and ambiguous environments.

• Excellent communication skills, inviting early critiques and sharing work prior to finalization.
