Product Designer – Brief Management, Creative Workflows

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the complete Brief mode experience.

• Create agentic and AI-supported interactions and journeys, rapidly prototyping with Figma/AI tools and drafting clear, implementable handovers.

• Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and AI teams from the initial discovery phase to final delivery.

• Conduct user research and usability tests.

• Utilize product analytics and session replays to identify friction points and support design choices with data-driven evidence.

• Contribute to the evolution and maintenance of Pencil's design system, focusing on reusable patterns for enterprise brands and self-serve users.

• Define how users and AI agents interact during briefing, analysis, editing, review, approval, and creative completion stages.

• Assist in reaching KPIs related to briefing-flow, brief-submission, approval, and agent adoption.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of product design experience in B2B SaaS or complex workflow tools.

• A portfolio demonstrating end-to-end ownership of launched features.

• Practical experience in designing AI-driven products: generative, conversational, or agentic interfaces, incorporating uncertainty, loading, and error states.

• Strong skills in interaction and systems thinking: managing multi-step flows, permissions, statuses, and edge cases.

• Proficiency in Figma and rapid prototyping techniques.

• Experience leveraging qualitative research and quantitative data (e.g., Amplitude) to inform and validate decisions.

• Familiarity with AI prototyping tools or basic front-end knowledge (React, component libraries) is highly desirable.

• Background in adtech, marketing, creative operations, or agency workflows is a plus.
