This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to grasp user needs, business objectives, and project specifications.
• Engage in user research, discovery initiatives, workshops, and usability assessments.
• Convert insights and requirements into user flows, journey maps, wireframes, prototypes, and interface designs.
• Utilize Figma for concept exploration, prototype creation, and contribution to production-ready designs.
• Implement established design systems to ensure consistency across products.
• Take part in design reviews and critiques, articulate design decisions, and integrate feedback.
• Refine solutions based on user feedback, data, business priorities, and technical limitations.
• Prioritize usability, accessibility, and inclusivity throughout the design process.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams during the product development lifecycle.
• Continuously enhance knowledge of Product Design, UX, UI, research, accessibility, and innovative design practices.
• Recent graduate in Product Design, Interaction Design, UX/UI Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field, or possess equivalent practical experience.
• Portfolio showcasing design thinking, problem-solving abilities, and the design process; academic, personal, internship, or collaborative projects are encouraged.
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles.
• Familiarity with Figma or comparable design and prototyping tools.
• Basic knowledge of interaction design, visual design, usability, and accessibility.
• Capability to articulate the rationale and process behind design choices.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Curiosity, openness to feedback, and eagerness to learn.
• Ability to thrive in a multidisciplinary and collaborative environment.
• Experience with user research or usability testing.
• Understanding of design systems and component-based design.
• Familiarity with Agile or iterative product development methodologies.
• Interest in complex software, enterprise products, data, AI, or emerging technologies.
• No prior full-time experience in Product Design is necessary.
