Product Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Take full ownership of the design process for a product stream, encompassing problem framing, detailed UI development, and post-launch iterations.

• Create AI-driven experiences, such as conversational interfaces, AI-generated insights, and agent interactions.

• Convert intricate workflows and data-intensive domains into user-friendly, intuitive interfaces.

• Lead discovery and research initiatives, including conducting interviews, usability testing, and workflow mapping.

• Work collaboratively with product managers and engineering teams to influence product direction and roadmap decisions.

• Refine designs based on technical feasibility and oversee the execution process.

• Develop and contribute to a collective design system.

• Leverage data and analytics to confirm design choices, pinpoint friction areas, and assess impact.

• Cultivate deep knowledge of Bridgit's data, workflows, and users' cognitive models.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in product design within a web-based SaaS environment.

• Proven experience working in an agile team environment alongside engineers and product managers.

• A compelling portfolio that showcases end-to-end design ownership from research and problem framing to polished, delivered UI.

• Demonstrated experience with AI-driven products and successfully launched AI features.

• Capability to tackle AI design challenges, including user expectations, uncertainty, and human control.

• Proficiency with complex, data-rich products and information-heavy workflows.

• A systems-thinking mindset that encompasses flows, edge cases, and the overall product experience.

• A collaborative, humble approach; readiness to share work early, accept feedback, and make iterations.

• Excellent communication skills for conveying design rationale to engineers, product managers, and senior stakeholders.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with evolving priorities and comfort with ambiguity.
