Product Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with Product Managers on product discovery, incorporating research insights and solution hypotheses.

• Conduct user research and utilize AI for expediting the synthesis and organization of findings.

• Prototype directly within the design codebase with AI assistance, creating navigable and functional prototypes.

• Develop and sustain the design system as code, encompassing components, tokens, and UI patterns.

• Execute usability testing on coded prototypes, collect feedback, and iterate swiftly.

• Leverage usage metrics to prioritize enhancements.

• Define and steer the design strategy in alignment with business goals and the team's AI-enabled workflows.

• Work collaboratively with developers, Product Managers, and stakeholders to ensure technical feasibility and minimize rework.

• Produce and keep up-to-date living documentation in the codebase, including guidelines, specifications, interaction patterns, prompts, and context.

• Organize content and functionality with efficient navigation flows and clear information architecture.

• Stay informed about design trends, AI tools in product development, and industry best practices.

• Strong understanding of typography, color, iconography, and layout principles.

• Familiarity with personas, journey mapping, information architecture, and usability testing techniques.

• Understanding of tokens and reusable components in design systems.

• Knowledge of WCAG guidelines and their practical application.

• Experience in prototyping interfaces directly in code using tools like Claude Code or similar platforms.

• Front-end fundamentals: capability to read and modify HTML, CSS, and React components or their equivalents.

• Experience using Git, including branches, commits, and pull requests.

• Experience in structuring prompts, AI-oriented documentation, and skill sets.

• A portfolio showcasing functional coded prototypes.

• Background in software development, front-end development, or digital marketing.
