Product Designer

📋 Description

• Collaborate within highly interactive cross-functional teams to identify opportunities, make strategic decisions, and deliver impactful product updates.

• Generate ideas for behavioral loops that provide value and promote engagement through social sharing, challenges, achievements, and user-generated content.

• Create experiences that build community and effectively convey membership value across diverse markets with local relevance.

• Systematize motions and transition effects to direct user attention and validate actions.

• Utilize AI tools judiciously, employing front-end code to explore, communicate, and advance projects.

• Contribute to and utilize the evolving design system.

• Operate at the convergence of craftsmanship, product strategy, and technical exploration.

• Take ownership of projects from inception to completion, delivering products that are utilized by millions of outdoor enthusiasts.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2-4 years of professional experience in researching, designing, and delivering consumer-facing digital product features across iOS, Android, and web platforms.

• Proven experience in taking ideas from concept to launch and learning from post-launch results.

• Strong product execution backed by keen visual, interaction, and motion design judgment.

• Builder mentality: comfort in using code as a medium for design exploration and engaging in technical implementation, coding, or AI-generated prototypes.

• AI Fluency: adept at crafting effective prompts, providing useful context, critically evaluating AI-generated results, and iteratively refining the outcome towards a high-quality product.

• Strong design systems mindset: ability to utilize, enhance, or create patterns while balancing speed with the long-term health of the system.

• Robust digital presence with a proven ability to engage and expand communities online.

• This position is remote and based in the U.S.
