Product Data Intern

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Provide support to business teams by assisting them in understanding their data requirements and analytics priorities.

• Aid in the development of analyses and reports to deliver insights that contribute to growth strategies.

• Assist stakeholders in identifying new opportunities through the analysis of key data.

• Support the creation, monitoring, and evaluation of reports and dashboards.

• Help in visualizing and presenting analytics results to ensure comprehension and actionability.

• Collaborate closely with product team leaders to establish key metrics and performance objectives.

• Write SQL queries, contribute to Python coding, and produce charts and dashboards to support data-driven decision-making.

⛳️ Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a degree program in a quantitative field such as statistics, mathematics, data science, computer science, business, or economics.

• Strong understanding of SQL for data extraction, manipulation, and creating actionable datasets.

• Familiarity with Python for data processing and analytical tasks.

• Willingness to learn and quickly adapt to new technologies.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.

• Strong communication skills and fluency in English.

• Proven experience with Claude or similar large language model tools is essential; candidates should be adept at utilizing AI to boost productivity, research, and communication.

• Preferred: experience with data visualization platforms such as Redash, Tableau, Looker, or Power BI.

• Preferred: experience with data handling, including complex dataset creation, reporting, profiling, or machine learning.

• Familiarity with technologies such as Redshift, PostgreSQL, dbt, AWS, G Suite, and Mac.
