Product Data Intern

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with business teams to comprehend their data requirements and analytical priorities.

• Aid in the development of analyses and reports that deliver insights to support growth strategies.

• Assist stakeholders in discovering new opportunities through key data analysis.

• Contribute to the creation, monitoring, and evaluation of reports and dashboards.

• Facilitate the visualization and presentation of analytics outcomes to ensure understanding and actionable insights.

• Establish key metrics and performance goals in partnership with product team leaders.

• Support data initiatives across multiple departments.

• Write SQL queries, contribute Python code, and create charts and dashboards to enable data-driven decision-making.

⛳️ Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a degree program in a quantitative field such as statistics, mathematics, data science, computer science, business, or economics.

• Strong understanding of SQL for data extraction and manipulation, as well as creating actionable data sets.

• Familiarity with Python for data analysis and processing.

• Willingness to learn and adapt swiftly to new technologies.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.

• Exceptional communication skills and proficiency in English.

• Proven experience working with Claude or similar large language model tools is essential; candidates should be adept at utilizing AI to enhance productivity, research, and communication.

• Preferred: experience with data visualization platforms such as Redash, Tableau, Looker, or Power BI.

• Preferred: background in data-related tasks, including creating complex datasets, reporting, profiling, and machine learning.

• Familiarity or exposure to Python, Redshift, PostgreSQL, dbt, AWS, G Suite, and Mac is advantageous.
