Product Data Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico, +3 more countries.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with the Product team to guide feature development and behavioral interventions using data.

• Formulate hypotheses, conduct experiments, and evaluate outcomes.

• Perform exploratory and statistical analyses to identify user behavior trends and patterns in performance.

• Create and sustain Mixpanel dashboards to monitor user engagement and product health.

• Establish and verify Mixpanel event tracking while resolving instrumentation issues.

• Utilize SQL to query internal databases and Snowflake.

• Develop Python scripts for data processing, automation, and statistical evaluation.

• Construct and manage Fresh Tri’s Snowflake data warehouse, including schema design and data ingestion processes.

• Generate and uphold BI visualizations for stakeholders.

• Collaborate with the Engineering team to ensure data quality and reliability of data pipelines.

• Conduct qualitative user research, such as interviews, to supplement quantitative data.

• Provide actionable insights to support academic and business reporting.

• Author methods and results sections for research manuscripts.

• Conduct advanced statistical testing for ad hoc analyses.

• Lead or assist with grant-funded projects and applications.

• Design and implement statistical analysis plans.

• Clean, merge, and prepare datasets for analysis.

• Conduct literature reviews and assist with commercial and client research.

• Work collaboratively with Product, Engineering, and Research teams on both commercial product development and academic research initiatives.


⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Product Analytics, Growth Analytics, Data Analytics, or a comparable role supporting digital products.

• Extensive experience with Mixpanel, including dashboards, event tracking, taxonomy, and validation processes.

• Proficient in SQL for handling both structured and unstructured data.

• Familiarity with Python for data analysis, automation, or processing tasks.

• Experience using Snowflake, including data pipelines, sources, and visualizations.

• Strong grounding in statistics, encompassing experiment design, hypothesis testing, and regression analysis.

• Capability to read and interpret application code for debugging analytics instrumentation.

• Experience with Google Analytics, A/B testing tools, and experimentation frameworks is advantageous.

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical, quantitative, or behavioral science field is preferred.

• Excellent communication skills to convey complex analyses into clear business insights.

• Inquisitive, collaborative, and focused on making an impact.

• Resume must be presented in English.

• Willingness to work within U.S. time zones (EST, MST, CST, or PST).

• Comfortable being an independent contractor and managing personal equipment, taxes, and benefits.
