Product and Services Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Provide analytical leadership across the SaaS portfolio, professional services, and FinOps functions.

• Establish KPIs, analytics, benchmarks, and financial insights to evaluate product health, service performance, engineering investment, cost-to-serve, and profitability.

• Develop and maintain analytics frameworks for Cloud SaaS products and implementation/services businesses.

• Create standardized KPIs, dashboards, benchmarks, and leadership reporting.

• Analyze Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR), revenue growth, software gross margin, customer adoption, retention, expansion, usage, bookings, Average Selling Price (ASP), discounting, and customer/product profitability.

• Assess engineering resources and technology investments in relation to revenue growth, product maturity, customer demand, and product health.

• Define KPI specifications, calculation methodologies, data sources, and ownership across functions.

• Develop both internal and external performance benchmarks across products, regions, industries, customer segments, implementation models, and product lines.

• Measure implementation revenue, backlog, project duration, time-to-value, utilization, staffing, project margin, forecast accuracy, milestone performance, scope changes, rework, customer readiness, and on-time delivery.

• Analyze implementation economics and cost-to-serve in collaboration with Services, Finance, and Product leadership.

• Identify the factors contributing to project margin erosion, resource inefficiency, scope creep, delivery complexity, and recurring implementation costs.

• Lead FinOps and SaaS cost management by aligning cloud infrastructure and operational expenditures with SaaS products and offerings.

• Develop and report metrics for cloud cost optimization and performance.

• Collaborate with Engineering, Product, Finance, and Cloud Operations to drive cost reductions and continuous improvement.

⛳️ Requirements

• Approximately 3-5 years of relevant experience, preferably in SaaS or FinOps environments.

• Advanced proficiency in Excel.

• Experience with data visualization tools; Power BI is preferred.

• Ability to create personalized dashboards.

• Bachelor’s degree is required.

• Must reside in the United States.

• Valid work authorization for the United States is required.

• Visa sponsorship is not available.

• Strong analytical and quantitative abilities.

• Experience in developing and managing business performance metrics, dashboards, reporting, and analytical frameworks.

• Solid understanding of financial analysis and business economics, including revenue, costs, margins, profitability, forecasting, and investment performance.

• Proficient with data analysis and reporting tools.

• Extensive experience in SaaS, financial, and operational analytics.

• Advanced capabilities in data analysis and business intelligence, including SQL, Tableau/Power BI, Excel, or similar analytics platforms.

• Experience with SaaS financial modeling and unit economics.

• Knowledge of Cloud FinOps and SaaS cost management, including AWS/cloud infrastructure costs, usage, utilization, unit costs, cost allocation, and cloud optimization.
