Product Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Identify, define, execute, and present analyses for the product team, guiding them from inquiry to actionable recommendation.

• Collaborate with Product Managers and Machine Learning teams to establish and track essential success metrics for product features.

• Design, analyze, and interpret A/B tests and other experimental data with a focus on statistical accuracy.

• Create and sustain dashboards and reports to facilitate self-service tracking of product performance.

• Develop reusable SQL scripts, analytical notebooks, and lightweight frameworks, including workflows supported by LLM.

• Examine unexpected shifts in product or business performance, conveying insights and recommendations effectively.

• Acquire a solid understanding of core data tables, the specific product area, and the broader product suite.

• Work in tandem with Data Scientists and Data Engineers to ensure data quality, metric consistency, and dependable instrumentation.

• Document analytical methodologies, assumptions, and approaches for reproducibility purposes.

• Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in analytics.

• Proficient in SQL.

• Skilled in Python for data analysis.

• Experience in independently delivering analytical projects from initial scoping to final presentation.

• Strong communication abilities for articulating analytical findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Familiarity with Business Intelligence and visualization tools such as Looker, Tableau, Hex, or similar platforms.

• Degree in a quantitative discipline such as Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
