Product Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Serve as the representative of the Product team across all ongoing projects.

• Engage in daily operational and development stand-up meetings for applications.

• Facilitate data delivery for clients utilizing the product.

• Collaborate with various teams and stakeholders to create and provide high-quality healthcare data products.

• Analyze extensive US healthcare claims datasets to uncover patterns, data quality concerns, coverage gaps, and opportunities for product enhancement.

• Develop and refine SQL queries for data extraction, profiling, reconciliation, validation, and impact assessment.

• Compare datasets and product outputs to evaluate changes in sources, updated business rules, alterations in data periods, and product improvements.

• Investigate intricate data and product issues, conduct root-cause analysis, evaluate business impact, and propose effective solutions.

• Examine medical claims, pharmacy claims, prescription data, payer information, formulary data, and patient-level data.

• Assist in validating product outputs, analytical workflows, data transformations, and results generated by machine learning.

• Develop and maintain data dictionaries, business rules, requirements, test scenarios, and validation outcomes.

• Aid in functional testing, data validation, regression testing, defect investigation, and user acceptance testing.

• Support feasibility studies and proof-of-concept projects for new healthcare data and analytics capabilities.

• Collaborate with Product Owners, Product Managers, Data Engineering, Machine Learning, Software Engineering, Engagement, and Account teams.

• Report directly to the Product Owner.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (B.E.) or Technology (B. Tech.) is required; preference for Computer Science or related fields.

• 1 to 3 years of experience in healthcare analytics, product analysis, business analysis, data analysis, or a similar role.

• Exceptional problem-solving abilities, including structuring ambiguous business inquiries, investigating data inconsistencies, conducting root-cause analysis, and suggesting practical solutions.

• Proficient hands-on experience with SQL, Power BI, and Microsoft Excel.

• Experience in analyzing US healthcare data.

• Familiarity with medical, pharmacy claims, and patient-level data from sources such as McKesson Compile, Symphony PatientSource, Komodo Health, or similar.

• Knowledge of formulary and market-access data from sources like MMIT, DRG Fingertip, or comparable resources.

• May require domestic and/or international travel, including overnight stays, up to 5%.

• Preferred: hands-on experience with Snowflake.

• Preferred: understanding of medical and pharmacy claims, payer hierarchies, BIN-PCN-Group data, formulary data, market access, or patient-services analytics.

• Preferred: exposure to longitudinal patient analysis, treatment patterns, patient journeys, or payer-access analytics.

• Preferred: familiarity with Python, APIs, JSON, or machine-learning output validation.

• Preferred: experience with Azure DevOps, Jira, or Agile product development methodologies.

• Preferred: working knowledge of US Healthcare / Market Access.

• Preferred: experience developing within a HIPAA-compliant environment.

• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret production data, financial statements, and legal documents.
