This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Act as a representative for the Product team on all ongoing projects.
• Engage in daily application operations and development stand-up meetings.
• Assist in data delivery for clients who are subscribed to the product.
• Work collaboratively with teams and stakeholders to create and provide high-quality data products.
• Analyze extensive US healthcare claims datasets to uncover patterns, data-quality issues, coverage gaps, and opportunities for product improvement.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, profiling, reconciliation, validation, and impact analysis.
• Compare datasets and product outputs to evaluate the effects of source changes, revised business rules, data-period adjustments, and product enhancements.
• Investigate intricate data and product issues, conduct root-cause analysis, assess business impact, and recommend feasible solutions.
• Analyze medical claims, pharmacy claims, prescriptions, payer information, formulary data, and patient-level data.
• Assist in the validation of product outputs, analytical processes, data transformations, and results generated by machine learning.
• Create and maintain comprehensive product documentation, including data dictionaries, business rules, requirements, test scenarios, and validation outcomes.
• Aid in functional testing, data validation, regression testing, defect investigation, and user acceptance testing.
• Contribute to feasibility assessments and proof-of-concept projects for new healthcare data and analytics capabilities.
• Report directly to the Product Owner and work in collaboration with Product Owners, Product Managers, Data Engineering, Machine Learning, Software Engineering, Engagement, and Account teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (B.E.) or Technology (B. Tech.) is required; a degree in computer science or related fields is preferred.
• 1 to 3 years of experience in healthcare analytics, product analysis, business analysis, data analysis, or a similar role.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, including structuring ambiguous business inquiries, investigating data discrepancies, performing root-cause analysis, and proposing actionable solutions.
• Proficient hands-on experience with SQL, Power BI, and Microsoft Excel.
• Practical experience analyzing US healthcare data.
• Familiarity with medical, pharmacy claims, and patient-level data from sources like McKesson Compile, Symphony PatientSource, Komodo Health, or equivalent.
• Knowledge of formulary and market-access data, such as MMIT, DRG Fingertip, or similar sources.
• Capability to read, analyze, and interpret production data, financial reports, and legal documents.
• Exceptional verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work efficiently across the organization and provide and receive constructive feedback.
• Possible domestic and/or international travel, including overnight stays, up to 5%.
• Preferred: hands-on experience with Snowflake.
• Preferred: understanding of medical and pharmacy claims, payer hierarchies, BIN-PCN-Group data, formulary data, market access, or patient-services analytics.
• Preferred: exposure to longitudinal patient analysis, treatment patterns, patient journeys, or payer-access analytics.
• Preferred: familiarity with Python, APIs, JSON, or machine-learning output validation.
• Preferred: experience with Azure DevOps, Jira, or Agile product-development methodologies.
• Preferred: working knowledge of US Healthcare / Market Access.
• Preferred: experience developing within a HIPAA-compliant environment.
