This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as a liaison among the direct fulfillment program manager, demand planners, and the DB Schenker BTS fulfillment site.
• Ensure that demand planning commitments adhere to the established product lead times.
• Address material delivery delays and oversee delivery order lead times.
• Accelerate SAP delivery orders by collaborating with both internal and external partners.
• Assess customer build and shipping plans in relation to delivery date commitments.
• Recognize opportunities for continuous improvement and create project plans and proposals through to execution.
• Oversee site dock operations, safety protocols, training documentation, material disposition, and tracking.
• Supervise dock leads during operational hours to ensure compliance with site processes.
• Provide support as a backup for the build supervisor and familiarize yourself with systems, spreadsheets, and processes.
• Assist with new building startups, ensuring compliance with safety standards, area setup, coordination with customer teams, construction oversight, and deliveries.
• Gather and present data for manager meetings, highlighting material-related financial and efficiency enhancements.
• Coordinate warehouse planning and prioritize the flow of inbound and outbound materials.
• Manage work tickets related to material movement and re-inventory tasks.
• Aid in the onboarding and training of new material planners.
• Enhance training documentation and develop training opportunities.
• Support payroll/HR matters and assist with interviews as necessary.
• Outstanding interpersonal and analytical abilities.
• A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is required.
• Typically, 5+ years of relevant experience is preferred.
• Familiarity with SAP delivery orders.
• Competence in managing material planning, delivery lead times, dock operations, safety protocols, training documentation, payroll/HR issues, and interview processes.
• Capacity to prepare and deliver data presentations succinctly.
• Ability to coordinate both inbound and outbound materials, direct deliveries, and trailer drops.
• Skill in facilitating on-the-job training sessions.
