This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Netherlands.
• Assist with daily procurement tasks to ensure effective supply chain operations
• Prepare and manage purchase orders, requisitions, and various procurement documentation
• Aid in vendor evaluation and selection by conducting market research and data analysis
• Work collaboratively with team members to identify cost-saving measures and enhance processes
• Compile reports and presentations regarding procurement activities and performance metrics
• Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures in all procurement endeavors
• Provide support to team members with supply management and procurement inquiries related to their categories
• Advocate for, provide guidance on, and ensure compliance with the Global Procurement Policy and its associated procedures
• Manage one or more spending categories independently, with support from the team
• Conduct intermediate-level financial analysis of tender responses for presentation to senior management and the Global Head of Procurement
• Maintain the Procurement Source to Contract platform for contract and supplier management
• Identify opportunities for system and process enhancements
• Update and enhance the Procurement intranet site
• Learn and make contributions from Day 1
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline
• 1 to 3 years of experience in procurement or a comparable role
• Eagerness to acquire new skills, processes, and techniques
• Curiosity and innovative thinking in problem-solving
• Capability to articulate and suggest effective solutions
• Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively in a close-knit team
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Familiarity with Power BI is a plus
• Strong analytical and problem-solving competencies
• Experience in managing complex data
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
• Attention to detail and aptitude for prioritizing and managing multiple tasks from start to finish
• Understanding of procurement processes and best practices
• Experience with supplier management and vendor relationships is preferred
• Strong time management and prioritization abilities
• Capacity to meet deadlines
• Positive attitude and proactive mindset
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken
• Potential to fulfill security clearance, right-to-work, identification, and work history checks for customer projects
