
Procurement Manager β Fencing & Construction Materials

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina, +5 more countries.
β’ Develop and nurture supplier relationships for vinyl, wood, aluminum, chain-link fencing, hardware, and associated materials.
β’ Negotiate pricing, lead times, payment and delivery terms, along with service levels.
β’ Identify alternative suppliers to reduce stockouts, delays, and supply chain risks.
β’ Assess vendor performance, pricing, reliability, and quality metrics.
β’ Generate and oversee purchase orders in alignment with production schedules, project pipelines, and backlog reports.
β’ Track material usage and modify purchasing and reorder levels accordingly.
β’ Collaborate with installation and scheduling teams to ensure timely material delivery prior to job commencement.
β’ Maintain comprehensive purchasing records and follow up on pending orders and deliveries.
β’ Manage inventory across the yard, warehouse, and company vehicles utilizing SOS Inventory or comparable systems.
β’ Establish and uphold FIFO inventory management practices.
β’ Identify and report on aged, excess, or slow-moving inventory items.
β’ Oversee the receipt, inspection, staging, and verification of incoming materials.
β’ Address shortages, discrepancies, damaged materials, and delivery issues with suppliers.
β’ Monitor material costs and pinpoint opportunities for expense reduction.
β’ Collaborate with Sales and Estimating teams to ensure accurate BOMs, material takeoffs, and pricing strategies.
β’ Provide weekly KPI reports on cost variances, supplier lead times, fill rates, and inventory availability.
β’ Assist with job costing and ensuring purchasing accuracy.
β’ A minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain, or a related field.
β’ Proficient negotiation and vendor management abilities.
β’ Experience in managing purchasing, inventory, purchase orders, and supplier relationships.
β’ Knowledge of inventory or ERP systems, such as SOS Inventory, QuickBooks, or similar platforms.
β’ Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
β’ Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
β’ Strong follow-through capabilities and the ability to juggle multiple priorities simultaneously.
β’ Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
β’ Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
β’ Previous experience in the fencing industry or with a fencing contractor/franchise is preferred.
β’ Experience in sourcing vinyl, wood, aluminum, chain-link, or related construction materials is preferred.
β’ Background in construction, building materials, landscaping, hardscaping, or construction supply is preferred.
β’ Familiarity with job costing and construction billing cycles is preferred.
β’ Ability to read and interpret blueprints, material takeoffs, and BOMs is preferred.
β’ Experience collaborating with installation or field operations teams is preferred.
