This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Singapore.

📋 Description

• Serve as the primary liaison for Toradex's component suppliers and contract manufacturers located in Asia.

• Assist in sourcing components within Asia, which includes placing and managing purchase orders.

• Foster and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.

• Monitor and evaluate market trends and early indicators in the Asian electronics supply chain, such as lead times, allocation, and pricing, and communicate these insights with headquarters.

• Provide support to the team at headquarters in Switzerland and other Toradex locations globally in managing and planning supply.

• Collaborate effectively with the Supply Chain team at headquarters and other Toradex locations worldwide to coordinate sourcing and supply while enhancing supplier relationships.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5–10 years of experience in electronics supply chain and procurement.

• Experience with European and US companies; prior employment with a European or US firm is highly advantageous.

• A hands-on, entrepreneurial approach with experience in both strategic procurement and supplier relationship management, as well as tactical purchasing, which includes placing and tracking orders and sourcing.

• Proficient in English, both spoken and written.

• Fluent spoken Mandarin Chinese is required; written Chinese is preferred.
