This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Act as the key driver for spend management project implementations.
• Offer strategic insights and expertise to clients.
• Assist clients in configuring and implementing spend management solutions.
• Promote continuous improvement, business process optimization, and change management.
• Lead by example and motivate the consulting team.
• Serve as a catalyst for organizational transformation.
• Ensure excellence in consulting within Huron’s Spend Management team.
• Oversee and manage complex technology implementation or assessment projects.
• Cultivate long-lasting client partnerships and collaborate with colleagues to address client challenges.
• Mentor junior staff members on engagement teams.
• Plan, design, and deliver technology solutions that align with client objectives.
• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.
• At least 5 years of experience with procurement, payables, and contract lifecycle management applications (e.g., Coupa, Jaggaer, SAP Ariba).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience related to procurement and payables, in either a consultative or significant operational capacity.
• Expertise in full cycle implementation.
• At least 4 years of experience with Spend Management and Procurement.
• Familiarity with the Higher Education sector is advantageous.
• Strong proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite.
• Experience in leading and managing complex projects, particularly in technology implementations or assessments.
• Strong presence and engagement with client executives and C-suite members.
• Proficient in project management software and other relevant tools.
• Skills in managing organizational change for new systems or process modifications.
• Ability to think strategically and align technology solutions with business objectives.
• Strong orientation towards customer service.
• U.S. work authorization is required.
• Flexible living location is acceptable.
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 25% annually; availability to work extended hours as necessary.
