Procurement Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee procurement evaluations for organizations that receive FTA funding

• Create information request packages and investigate recipients’ grants, audits, and previous evaluations

• Validate documents submitted by recipients

• Perform site visits, interview recipient personnel, and assess procurement documentation

• Share preliminary findings with recipients and the FTA

• Write review reports and technical memoranda

• Keep comprehensive records in FTA’s oversight system

• Manage special projects, provide corrective action support, and offer technical assistance

• Develop training materials, workshop content, case studies, and online training modules

• Act as a subject matter expert during recipient oversight workshops

• Deliver presentations with COR approval

• Engage with the COR, FTA regional and program offices, and recipients through phone calls, meetings, and conferences

• Ensure that work adheres to FTA standards and accessibility guidelines

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree is mandatory

• At least 4 years of relevant professional experience

• Excellent analytical, writing, training, and presentation abilities

• Capability to identify risks, determine root causes, verify compliance, manage multiple issues simultaneously, and convey complex requirements to non-expert audiences

• U.S. citizenship is required

• Current residency in the U.S. is required

• Experience in acquisition strategy, requirements development, market analysis, and full procurement lifecycle

• Active clearance status is preferred
