This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Manage the processing of reverse mortgage loans.
• Serve as a liaison between clients and Loan Officers throughout the closing process.
• Assist qualified applicants in securing loans promptly and professionally while complying with company policies and applicable federal and state regulations.
• Accurately enter and update information in the Loan Origination System.
• Verify that rates and fees are correct and compliant.
• Gather income, employment, and asset verifications.
• Support clients and Loan Officers during the loan processing phase leading up to closing.
• Review underwriting conditions provided by borrowers within a 24 to 48-hour timeframe.
• Collect necessary closing documentation.
• Ensure consistency between Loan Origination System data and document data.
• Update and record fees for Initial Disclosures and Final Loan Documents.
• Document and communicate Changes of Circumstances within mandated timeframes.
• Prepare, approve, and file documents and conditions required prior to closing.
• Collaborate with sales, underwriting, funding, title companies, brokers, clients, and settlement agents.
• Keep open lines of communication and escalate issues to Management as needed.
• Review and update the loan pipeline, including key dates, expirations, cancellations, and denials.
• Ensure compliance of loan packages with company and investor policies.
• Manage a pipeline of 50 loans.
• Participate in regular and on-demand departmental meetings.
• Stay informed about company guidelines and federal and state regulations.
• Achieve customer service, productivity, conversion, and compliance objectives.
• Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned by management.
• High School Diploma is mandatory.
• Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
• At least 2 years of experience in Loan Processing is required.
• Prior experience with automated Loan Origination Systems and within the mortgage industry is necessary.
• Exceptional customer service abilities.
• Ability to quickly adapt to changes.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative spirit.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
• Analytical thinking and effective problem-solving skills.
• Highly organized with attention to detail.
• Capable of multitasking and prioritizing tasks effectively.
