Processing Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Comprehend payroll processing needs for designated entities

• Execute biweekly and semimonthly payroll

• Provide follow-up communication via phone or email concerning any errors or omissions

• Uphold client trust by protecting data and adhering to HIPAA regulations

• Manage adjustments, voids, reissues, and ACH uploads

• Handle off-cycle payroll processing

• Organize the printing, packaging, and distribution of checks and advice slips

• Extract and import data from various programs

• Process garnishments, tax levies, and court orders

• Investigate and resolve payroll-related issues

• Oversee payroll audits and reviews to ensure precision and spot potential inaccuracies

• Assist in gathering information for special reports and in preparing documents and correspondence

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of a high school diploma is required

• Two years of pertinent experience is required

• Familiarity with accounting and payroll practices

• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities

• Capability to analyze information and make informed decisions

• Excellent research and analytical skills

• Proficient in email, Internet, and Microsoft Office applications

• Strong skills in Excel

• Exceptional mathematical and calculation abilities

• Good verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to multitask effectively

• Willingness to work Monday through Friday, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

• Ability to protect data and comply with HIPAA regulations
