Processing Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +27 more states.

📋 Description

• Process student schedules within a 14-day timeframe, cross-checking vendor information, reimbursement documents, internal communications, and external websites.

• Review and manage reimbursement claims within a 14-day period, ensuring compliance with company policies.

• Verify order receipts and resolve discrepancies with invoices.

• Organize and assess incoming student enrollment packets to ensure completeness and proper order.

• Accurately input student records and keep enrollment information current.

• Handle Direct Orders for necessary supplies and materials.

• Respond to inquiries from parents and guardians in a professional, courteous, and timely manner.

• Collaborate with team members to provide reliable and clear information to families.

• Participate in team meetings and contribute to discussions.

• Cultivate a supportive environment that aligns with OpenEd’s values.

• Comply with federal, state, and local regulations as well as company policies.

• Perform other tasks as assigned by management.

• Report to the Processing Support Team Lead.

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

• Capacity to manage confidential information with care.

• Highly detail-oriented, organized, personable, and patient, with outstanding interpersonal skills.

• Confidence in learning and utilizing diverse online tools, systems, and programs.

• Self-driven and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.

• Availability to work during standard business hours in the Mountain Time Zone.

• Proficiency in Google Suite (Gmail, Calendar, Docs, Sheets, etc.).

• Must have access to a smartphone, high-speed internet, computer, webcam, and headset.

• Associate’s Degree or equivalent from an accredited institution, or relevant experience.

• Demonstrated administrative or clerical experience, particularly in data entry and record keeping.

• Must be eligible to work in the U.S.

• Ability to sit and perform repetitive tasks at a desk throughout the day.

• Must effectively use a computer screen and interpret written/printed materials.

• Regular usage of hands for data entry and document management.

• Ability to manage challenging interactions with parents or colleagues in a calm and professional manner.

• Ability to concentrate in a potentially noisy environment.

• Capability to excel in a fast-paced setting, managing multiple tasks accurately and efficiently.
