Process Engineering Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Oversee significant process improvement and Business Process Management initiatives within Information Security and Technology Solutions.

• Develop, standardize, enhance, and govern ISTS processes utilizing agentic workflows, Lean Six Sigma, and Business Process Management methodologies.

• Implement DMAIC and Lean Six Sigma approaches to address intricate, cross-functional challenges.

• Recognize, prioritize, and execute high-impact enhancement opportunities that align with enterprise objectives and ISTS OKRs.

• Achieve measurable increases in capacity and efficiency, reduce expenses, and mitigate risks.

• Ensure that process enhancements are sustainable, controlled, and integrated into daily operations.

• Maintain an improvement backlog and rank initiatives based on potential value.

• Uphold a consistent engagement lifecycle, quality benchmarks, and documentation standards.

• Revise process maps, SOPs, KPIs, and governance documents.

• Generate current-state process visualizations using tools like Visio and Lucidchart.

• Design optimized future-state processes.

• Execute improvements through technology enablement, automation, workflow alterations, and agentic workflows.

• Collaborate with IT, platform, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and operations teams to implement and scale enhancements.

• Facilitate change adoption, secure stakeholder buy-in, and ensure smooth implementation.

• Prepare and maintain flow diagrams, SOPs, and change control documents.

• Continuously assess and refine processes for effectiveness, agility, and adaptability.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in process engineering, analysis, and change management.

• At least 3 years of experience in establishing or functioning within a formal BPM framework.

• Proficient in process inventory and taxonomy management, process documentation and standardization, process ownership models, and governance routines.

• Over 2 years of experience utilizing process mapping tools such as Lucidchart, Visio, or Mural.

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification is required.

• Strong skills in problem-solving and root-cause analysis.

• Proven hands-on experience in applying Lean Six Sigma and DMAIC techniques.

• Experience in collaborating with IT and engineering teams to implement enhancements through technology, automation, workflow tools, and digital enablement.

• Familiarity with agentic workflows, automation, or low-code/no-code platforms.

• Knowledge of project management methodologies.

• Capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and navigating complex stakeholder relationships.

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.

• High School Diploma/GED plus 4 years of relevant experience as an alternative educational pathway.
