Process Automation Engineer – Quickbase

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design and document Quickbase solutions that align with well-established framework principles.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to transform requirements into technical solutions across a variety of technologies.

• Create and maintain Quickbase architecture documentation, which includes architectural diagrams, PDD, SDD, and runbooks.

• Manage and oversee the Quickbase realm, including applications, users, roles, and pipelines.

• Optimize application structure for scalability, maintainability, and user experience.

• Engage in the complete software development lifecycle.

• Design tables, relationships, fields, forms, reports, dashboards, and permissions.

• Conduct reviews of Quickbase apps, pipelines, formulas, integrations, and configurations to ensure governance and compliance with standards.

• Improve existing workflows, pipelines, formulas, code pages, and associated configurations.

• Design, build, configure, and test Quickbase applications.

• Collaborate with the Enterprise Architect and Senior Automation Developer to adhere to enterprise architecture governance and guidelines.

• Stay informed about technology trends and advancements to ensure Quickbase development remains competitive and secure.

• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business, or a related field is required, or equivalent work experience.

• Over 3 years of experience in designing and implementing complex solutions using Quickbase, including pipelines and code pages.

• Experience integrating Quickbase solutions with external systems via APIs, databases, and other technologies.

• More than 3 years of experience in a Microsoft Windows environment, including Windows 10/11, Office 365, and SharePoint.

• At least 2 years of experience in translating human processes into Quickbase solutions.

• Strong knowledge of Agile methodology with a minimum of 2 years working in a Scrum team environment.

• A solid understanding of programming fundamentals and concepts.

• Proficient understanding of JavaScript within Quickbase.

• Experience with Formula fields and Dynamic rules.

• Ability to comprehend and convert business needs into effective technical application solutions.

• Familiarity with REST APIs, JSON, authentication methods, and integration patterns.

• Outstanding communication and collaboration abilities.

• Exceptional time management skills and capability to simultaneously manage multiple business-critical projects.

• Understanding of core security and compliance principles within a healthcare context.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Ability to learn and effectively apply new technologies and platforms.

• Capability to meet the physical demands of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, which includes occasional standing and walking, frequent sitting and hand/finger movements, and effective verbal and written communication.
