This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alaska, +26 more states.
β’ Develop, format, edit, proofread, revise, and maintain corporate and departmental policies, technical procedures, and documentation.
β’ Suggest solutions for process and workflow challenges related to procedures.
β’ Provide guidance on procedures taxonomy, style guidelines, and content standards.
β’ Evaluate the priority of procedure or project requests, identify affected areas, and establish communication channels.
β’ Ensure that documentation is clear, consistent, and meets the needs of end users.
β’ Analyze, interpret, and synthesize state and federal regulations, contract modifications, and corporate communications for their impact on procedures.
β’ Initiate and lead work groups to gather process flows, make business decisions, and resolve issues.
β’ Conduct ad hoc analyses for end users.
β’ Engage in project-related activities, oversee associated project responsibilities, and report on procedure and project status.
β’ Execute system testing to validate procedures.
β’ High School Diploma or GED (Required).
β’ A minimum of 2 years of experience with Premera, including at least 1 year developing organizational procedures, OR 3 years of experience in developing organizational procedures (Required).
β’ Bachelor's degree in relevant fields of study or a certificate/relevant coursework in Business Writing, Technical Writing, or Journalism (Preferred).
β’ Experience in operations (Preferred).
β’ Previous experience in the health care sector (Preferred).
β’ Proficiency in technical writing, as well as Web/Internet/HTML (Preferred).
β’ Experience in business redesign or continuous improvement initiatives (Preferred).
β’ Capability to exert up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly.
β’ Ability to type and communicate clearly and effectively both in person and over the phone.
