Pro Fee Coder

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.

📋 Description

• Accurately code physician services for reimbursement, research, and compliance purposes.

• Identify and apply diagnosis codes, CPT codes, and modifiers based on medical records.

• Adhere to federal regulations.

• Rectify billing discrepancies.

• Execute Pro Fee account coding.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must possess an active CPC credential at a minimum.

• Certification through AHIMA/AAPC is required.

• RHIT or RHIA credentials are preferred.

• A minimum of 2 years of professional coding experience is necessary.

• 3–5 years of experience coding Pro Fee accounts is desirable.

• Proficiency in ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding is essential.

• Strong understanding of medical terminology and anatomy is required.

• Familiarity with reimbursement methodologies is important.

• Excellent communication skills are a must.

• A keen attention to detail is essential.
