Private Markets Leader – Insurance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Originate, structure, and execute investments across various asset classes and structures.

• Lead due diligence, valuation processes, legal negotiations, and secure Investment Committee approval.

• Drive portfolio construction, focusing on commitment pacing, vintage and manager diversification, and liquidity planning aligned with a long-duration liability profile.

• Ensure capital efficiency within insurance regulatory and rating agency capital frameworks, including rated feeders and customized SMAs.

• Cultivate strategic relationships with General Partners and enhance the platform’s reputation as a preferred partner for co-investment, seeding, and tailored mandates.

• Oversee portfolio monitoring, valuations, amendments, advisory boards, and decisions regarding secondary sales.

• Lead and mentor investment professionals.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree is mandatory.

• An MBA or CFA / CAIA designation is preferred.

• Familiarity with insurance capital frameworks, Asset Liability Management (ALM), and capital-efficient structuring is essential.

• Extensive experience in multi-asset-class private markets, encompassing fund investing and direct/co-investment execution across Private Equity, Private Credit, Real Estate, and Infrastructure.

• Possession of expertise in at least 2 or 3 specific areas.

• Profound structuring expertise in Limited Partnership Agreements (LPAs), side letters, co-investment terms, continuation vehicles, and bespoke vehicle formation.
