Private Investigator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Utah.

📋 Description

• Carry out surveillance on liability and workers’ compensation insurance claims

• Execute ethical and professional investigative tasks through surveillance and the collection of factual data

• Travel to various locations for investigative purposes

• Analyze comprehensive reports, police documents, and video footage

• Draft detailed surveillance reports in accordance with Company Standards

• Covertly document subjects without being detected

• Search for, locate, and utilize social media throughout the investigative process

• Respond swiftly and apply sound judgment during surveillance situations

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old, unless otherwise specified by State Licensure Laws

• An associate degree or relevant field experience is preferred

• Must successfully pass a background check

• Must maintain a clean driving record

• Must be prepared to obtain investigator licensing in your home state

• Capability to conduct extended surveillance, including up to 12 hours per day in a vehicle or stationary position

• Ability to travel to various investigation sites by driving, walking, or utilizing public transportation

• Capacity to maintain visual focus for prolonged durations

• Proficiency in navigating urban, rural, and indoor environments

• Skill in reviewing and analyzing comprehensive and police reports

• Competence in writing detailed surveillance reports in line with Company Standards

• Ability to review video footage for report preparation

• Capacity to covertly document subjects without being detected

• Ability to search for, locate, and utilize social media effectively

• Capacity to react quickly and exercise good judgment during surveillance activities

• Knowledge of pretexting is an advantage

• Ability to think creatively and innovatively
