This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +5 more states.
• Build and nurture relationships within the Private Equity ecosystem to foster strategic, long-term sales growth.
• Identify and connect with Portfolio Operations leads, Operating Partners, and Value Creation directors within targeted funds.
• Utilize an established professional network to engage with private equity environments and initiate business discussions.
• Employ PE financial and operational terminology to gain credibility with operational leadership.
• Navigate intricate PE procurement processes to secure Master Service Agreements within portfolio companies.
• Ensure RRD is included on shortlists for initiatives aimed at operational inefficiency and cost reduction.
• Broaden RRD’s presence across targeted portfolio companies through successful initial engagements.
• Promote and scale RRD services into additional portfolio assets.
• Introduce specialized operational assessments during pre-acquisition due diligence and the long-term holding phases.
• Leverage early assessments to foster goodwill and secure full execution contracts following acquisition closures.
• Monitor signed MSA agreements, executed assessment engagements, and revenue generated from PE relationships.
• A Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, or a related field is required.
• A Master’s degree or MBA is preferred.
• Experience as an ex-management consultant from MBB, Big 4, or a tier-1 operations consulting firm, particularly in Private Equity or Post-Merger Integration practices; or as a former COO, VP of Sales, or VP of Operations who has successfully scaled and exited a PE-backed portfolio company; or as a boutique PE-origination specialist with a proven record of selling professional services directly to PE funds.
• Must reside in a primary or secondary private equity hub: New York City, Greenwich, Boston, Chicago, San Francisco, Silicon Valley, Los Angeles, Austin, Miami, or Atlanta.
• Strong understanding of EBITDA, IRR, Multiple Expansion, and the 100-Day Plan.
• Ability to fully grasp RRD’s service portfolio and align solutions with PE financial and operational goals.
• Expertise in low-volume, high-trust Account-Based Selling strategies suitable for lengthy, complex institutional sales cycles.
• Capability to work cross-functionally to implement specialized delivery teams.
