This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +5 more states.
• Develop relationships within the Private Equity ecosystem to create sustainable, long-term sales momentum.
• Identify and connect with Portfolio Operations leaders, Operating Partners, and Value Creation directors in targeted funds.
• Utilize an established professional network to access highly restricted PE environments and initiate business discussions.
• Employ PE-specific financial and operational language to gain credibility with operational leadership.
• Navigate intricate PE procurement processes to obtain Master Service Agreements with portfolio operating companies.
• Position RRD as a key contender for initiatives targeting operational inefficiencies or cost reduction.
• Broaden RRD’s presence across various targeted portfolio companies through successful initial engagements.
• Cross-sell and expand RRD services to additional portfolio assets.
• Introduce specialized operational assessments during the pre-acquisition due diligence and holding phases.
• Utilize early assessments to foster goodwill and secure comprehensive execution contracts post-acquisition.
• Achieve results measured by signed MSAs, completed assessments, and sales revenue linked to PE relationships.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, or a related field is required.
• Master’s degree or MBA is preferred.
• Experience as a former management consultant from MBB, Big 4, or a tier-1 operations consulting firm, particularly in Private Equity or Post-Merger Integration; or as a former COO, VP of Sales, or VP of Operations who successfully scaled and exited a PE-backed portfolio company; or as a boutique PE-origination specialist with a proven record of selling professional services directly to PE funds.
• Must be located in a primary or secondary PE hub: New York City, Greenwich, Boston, Chicago, San Francisco, Silicon Valley, Los Angeles, Austin, Miami, or Atlanta.
• Profound understanding of EBITDA, IRR, Multiple Expansion, and the 100-Day Plan.
• Capability to master RRD’s portfolio of services and align solutions with PE financial and operational goals.
• Proficient in low-volume, high-trust Account-Based Selling strategies and managing lengthy, complex institutional sales cycles.
• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally to deploy specialized delivery teams.
