Private Equity Associate – Consumer & Leisure

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Develop a comprehensive financial model for a designated consumer/leisure transaction using a synthetic deal document package.

• Create an editable Excel workbook featuring live formulas, source references, and articulated assumptions.

• Conduct peer reviews of two anonymized models from other contractors based on established criteria.

• Provide a concise written rationale for each peer review and complete a review scorecard.

• Engage in projects aimed at training and improving AI systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2–4 years of overall experience.

• Approximately 2 years of investment banking experience in Consumer/Retail or generalist M&A.

• 1–2 years in mid-market or large-cap private equity.

• Currently or recently held the position of Associate at a mid-market or large-cap PE fund with a focus on consumer/leisure/multi-site services.

• Preference for candidates with experience in the Paris office or French deals.

• Capable of constructing a financial model from source documents without relying on a template.

• Proficient in English.

• Must maintain independent contractor status.

• Currently unable to support H1-B or STEM OPT candidates.

• Estimated commitment of 20–25 hours over a 1.5–2 week period.
