Private Equity Associate – Consumer & Leisure

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Create a functional financial model for a designated consumer/leisure transaction utilizing a synthetic deal document pack.

• Provide an editable Excel workbook containing live formulas, source references, and defined assumptions.

• Conduct peer reviews of two anonymized models from other contractors using a predetermined set of criteria.

• Offer a brief written justification for each peer review conducted.

• Complete a review scorecard as part of the evaluation process.

• Dedicate approximately 20–25 hours over a period of 1.5 to 2 weeks.

• Engage in projects aimed at training and improving AI systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2–4 years of overall experience in relevant fields.

• Around 2 years of experience in investment banking, specifically in Consumer/Retail or generalist M&A, preferably in Paris, London, or other European locations.

• Followed by 1–2 years of experience in mid-market or large-cap private equity.

• Currently or recently holding an Associate position at a mid-market or large-cap PE fund with a focus on consumer/leisure/multi-site services.

• Preference for candidates with Paris office or French deal experience.

• Proficient in constructing a financial model from source documents without relying on a template.

• Fluent in English.

• Must be capable of working as an independent contractor.

• H1-B and STEM OPT candidates are not eligible.
