Principal Water Resources Scientist – Engineer

📋 Description

• Enhance INTERA’s Water Resources and Supply practice across the Midwest.

• Strengthen INTERA’s reputation and client portfolio in Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, and Illinois.

• Cultivate trusted relationships with clients and generate new business opportunities.

• Oversee the effective delivery of intricate water resources projects.

• Assist municipal utilities, regional water authorities, industrial clients, and other water suppliers in overcoming challenges related to water supply, infrastructure, regulatory issues, and resource management.

• Conduct project tasks that include water supply planning, groundwater development, utility planning, infrastructure assessment, permitting, aquifer storage and recovery, managed aquifer recharge, and long-term water resource strategy development.

• Build and enhance relationships while identifying market opportunities.

• Lead strategic initiatives and convert client requirements into successful project outcomes.

• Act as principal-in-charge, project manager, technical lead, or senior advisor throughout project implementation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven water resources professional with technical knowledge and experience in project leadership.

• Comprehensive understanding of the water market in the Midwest.

• Capability to establish trusted client partnerships and secure new projects.

• Proficient in leading the successful execution of complex projects.

• Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams comprising engineers, hydrogeologists, scientists, planners, modelers, and data specialists.
