This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Malta.
• Collaborate on the technical SEO strategy, roadmap, and standards for the entire portfolio.
• Recognize and prioritize significant organic and commercial opportunities and risks.
• Direct intricate technical investigations involving crawling, rendering, indexation, architecture, internal linking, international SEO, migrations, structured data, and web performance.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams on architecture, major releases, migrations, and experiments.
• Convert technical SEO insights into clear priorities and scalable solutions.
• Develop automated monitoring, diagnostics, and early-warning systems.
• Create internal tools and AI-driven workflows for analysis, quality assurance, prioritization, and execution.
• Establish reusable technical patterns, guardrails, and frameworks across the portfolio.
• Mentor teams and enhance technical capabilities through documentation and shared tools.
• Report directly to the Chief Gaming Officer.
• Share responsibility for technical SEO across the Gaming portfolio while also supporting the Sports portfolio.
• Lead with expertise, maintaining autonomy and visibility across SEO, Product, Engineering, and Analytics.
• Proven experience in leading intricate technical SEO projects for large websites or multi-domain portfolios, achieving measurable organic or commercial results.
• In-depth knowledge of crawling, rendering, indexation, architecture, internal linking, canonicalization, international SEO, migrations, structured data, JavaScript SEO, log-file analysis, and web performance.
• Proficient in coding and capable of independently creating tools, diagnostics, monitoring, or automated workflows utilizing APIs and large datasets.
• Experience in deploying technical solutions and encouraging adoption by others.
• Ability to interpret technical findings into priorities based on anticipated value, risk, effort, confidence, and opportunity cost.
• Experience in influencing Product, Engineering, and senior stakeholders without direct authority.
• Ability to clearly communicate complex technical decisions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
