Principal, Technical Business Solutions

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Conduct business analysis activities in alignment with Innomar’s software development methodology.

• Support projects within a designated portfolio area either independently or in collaboration with Portfolio associates.

• Gather business requirements and functional specifications.

• Document requirements as user stories or use cases.

• Collaborate with business partners, solution architects, developers, and QA teams.

• Review QA test plans and related test case scenarios.

• Build and sustain relationships with business units and software vendors.

• Assist with phases of the System Development Life Cycle for both package and custom solutions.

• Take part in project meetings and joint application design sessions.

• Investigate and document detailed requirements.

• Engage with IT staff, business area management, portfolio managers, vendors, consultants, and contractors.

• Facilitate discussions to identify and assess project risks while proposing mitigation strategies.

• Attain expert knowledge of digital systems.

• Participate in project meetings across various workstreams for system enhancements and new systems.

• Develop and advance personal skills through training in the industry.

• Advocate for and support Cencora's policies, procedures, mission, vision, and core values.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, software engineering, business information technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience is required.

• A minimum of 8 years of experience in technical product management, technical project management, business systems analysis, application delivery, or a related field is required.

• Certification in project management, customer success management, service management, agile delivery, or product implementation is preferred.

• Familiarity with business principles, processes, and technology.

• Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities for technical product and delivery challenges.

• Effective written, verbal, and presentation skills for communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Capability to establish productive working relationships across customer, engineering, business, and management teams.

• Ability to clearly present strategies, plans, and technical information in an actionable manner.

• Proficiency in planning and managing multiple initiatives simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Understanding of business process modeling and system development lifecycle methodologies.

• Knowledge of web development, e-commerce platforms, and enterprise application environments.

• Working knowledge of enterprise platform architecture and its capabilities.

• A Master’s degree is preferred.
