This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.
• Oversee the Procure-to-Pay process for indirect materials.
• Implement procurement procedures, which encompass RFP preparation, supplier negotiations, cost analysis, and management of purchase orders.
• Address client inquiries regarding order status, modifications, or cancellations.
• Supervise sourcing activities to acquire goods, materials, supplies, and services.
• Evaluate supplier performance and ensure contract compliance, addressing delays, shortages, or quality concerns.
• Compile and assess price proposals, financial reports, and procurement data.
• Work in collaboration with internal stakeholders and suppliers to promote cost-effective procurement strategies.
• Participate in continuous process enhancements and support Supply Chain goals.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, International Business, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, or a related discipline, with at least 5 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree in a related field with a minimum of 3 years of experience.
• At least 3 years of experience utilizing SAP procurement software or comparable ERP systems within a supply chain or procurement setting, such as Oracle, Epicor, People Soft, APEX, or PRISM.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience overseeing complete procurement processes, including RFPs, supplier negotiations, and contract management.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
• Excellent communication skills, able to communicate fluently and professionally in both written and spoken English.
• Proven experience in evaluating supplier performance, ensuring compliance with contracts, and resolving delivery challenges.
• Familiarity with SAP procurement functionalities, MRP, Business Warehouse, or Business Objects.
• Understanding of Lean principles and their implementation in procurement and supply chain processes.
• Knowledge of contractual terms and conditions, emphasizing compliance assurance.
